PASTOR
astor, Organizer, Visionary - these are words which only begin to describe the character of this good and faithful servant of God, Superintendent Wallace K. Thomas. Following the example of Jesus Christ, the Master Carpenter, Superintendent Thomas has crafted a vision, which has come to fruition.
As a devoted husband, father of three sons and grandfather to five,
Pastor Thomas has compassion for people coupled with a strong commitment to God, which inspires him in his work. Tangible evidence of his good works can be seen not only in his contributions to the Corporation, but also to the community as a whole. Through the promotion of numerous community service and assistance programs,
the development of job training and job placement opportunities, the facilitation of family strengthening initiatives, programs to foster the understanding of diversity and promote ethnic harmony the residents have benefited greatly from his efforts.
Educated at Moody Bible Institute and the American Bible College, Pastor Thomas also possesses an Honorary Degree, Doctor of Divinity from Trinity Hall College and Seminary.
Pastor Thomas is also responsible for the publication of several creative works including:
"Power for Living", a comprehensive guide to spiritual development;
"Church Membership Manual", designed to teach and instruct new members and
"Church Tithing" an instruction in church finance.
Pastor Thomas is the superintendent of the Metro-Plains District of the New Garden State Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ. As a devoted supporter of the national Church, he leads this district faithfully. May God continue to bless and direct the footsteps of this anointed Man of God as he proceeds forward with the power of the Holy Ghost.
